Gregory Michael Smith, age 51, passed away at his home in Fairview, Tennessee, on June 19, 2025, due to family violence. His untimely passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Born on March 16, 1974, Greg was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. He brought kindness, laughter, and warmth into the lives of those around him and will be remembered for his gentle spirit and generous heart.

He is survived by his loving parents, Janet McCullough Smith and A. Kris Smith (Sarah); his brothers, Scot Smith (Beth) and Chris Hodges (Stacey); and several cherished nieces and nephews. Greg was a loving husband and a loyal friend who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone.

Greg’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will forever be missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Greg’s memory to a domestic violence prevention organization or an animal shelter.
