Gregory's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory "Greg" Herrin, who left us rather too soon on the eve of Christmas Day, December 24, 2023. Born on July 27, 1965, his 58 years of life were filled with remarkable love, laughter, wisdom, and strength.
Gregory, affectionately known as Greg by those around him, was a loving husband, a doting father, a supportive brother, and a cherished grandfather. His name will forever evoke a sense of love and respect in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marsha Herrin, his treasured daughter, Jacqueline Nicole Herrin, and his cherished son, Jason Nicholas Herrin. His legacy continues through his son-in-law, Addison Salter; his supportive sibling, Jacqueline Curtis; his beloved grandsons, Logan and Lane Herrin as well as many extended family members and close friends whom Greg accepted as his extended family.
Gregory’s wisdom was as profound as his love for his family and close friends. His lessons to us were simple yet impactful, “Don’t do anything stupid & Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.” A testament to his known and revered practicality and ability to find humor in life.
We regret that we must now adjourn this journey with Gregory, but we honour his life and his memory with respect, love, and fond reminiscences. In lieu of flowers, the family is raising funds to help with Gregory's funeral expenses and medical costs. Contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of….
We bid farewell to Gregory Herrin, a man of love, laughter, and wisdom. His memory will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, Greg, you will be dearly missed.
