Gregory's obituary
Greg was born to James and Rachel Parham Hall in San Diego, California whilst his father was stationed in the Navy. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Druid Hills High School. He studied data processing at Dekalb Technical School from 1969-1971 and served in the United States Navy from 1971-1976. He married his wife of 46 years Mickey Hall on November 20, 1971.
For over 25 years, Greg co-owned and operated a successful newspaper distribution company, Jim Hall and Sons. Later in life he went on to own and operate Ultima Trophies.
Greg is survived by his wife Mickey Jackson Hall, his two sons Tony Hall and Terry Hall (Kaye), sister Gail Ogden and brother Andy Hall. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Cassie Hall, James Hall, Logan Hall and Henry Hall.
Greg was a man of all trades, adept at mechanics, music and studies, but most of all, devoted to his family. He had a gentle heart for all animals great and small, working with his wife to rescue and rehabilitate many pets over the years. He loved coaching soccer and enjoyed traveling with his family, most notably on their annual trip to Gatlinburg, TN. He adored his grandchildren and loved nothing more than being a doting “Papa” to them.
Plans are pending for a celebration of life service later this spring.
