Gregory's obituary

Gregory Victor Goss, age 69, longtime resident of Wilmette, Il. passed away peacefully at his new home in Niles, Il. on June 16, 2021 surrounded by family. Greg was the ever devoted and proud father of E. Nicholas Barrett Goss and E. Torri Alexander Goss, loving brother to Victoria (Parsons) Goss, and ever loving husband to Sharon for 45 years. He is survived by the above mentioned, along with his brother and sister in-laws, his nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Greg was an architect for 40+ years and the owner and president of the Goss Group, based in Evanston, Il and up to his last few weeks of life, still looked forward to working and problem solving with his many colleagues. Greg enjoyed tennis and was an avid golfer, but he received the most joy from watching his sons play in their preferred sports; Nick was baseball and hockey and Torri was water polo. Greg had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. It was effortless for him to make me laugh and love every day. He was a special man who truly enjoyed his life and he will remain in all our hearts today and always.
