It is with sorrow that we share the passing of Greer "Sam" Moore, who left us peacefully on August 30, 2023.  Born on October 26, 1945, Greer, fondly also known as Sam, was a kind and compassionate spirit who will be deeply missed.  Sam was the first daughter of Lawrence and Laverne Larsen (VanDerel) of Sturgeon Bay.  She attended Sturgeon Bay High School and later La Crosse College.  She retired at the age of 70 from Aon Insurance Company of Green Bay.  Sam enjoyed caring for people and animals, often providing thoughtful gifts and participating in get togethers.  Her sweet demeanor and giving nature were abounding and she will forever be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and friends. Sam is preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Laverne, and her first ex-husband William Haines. She is survived by her daughter, Holly Haines; Son-In-Law, Patrick Spaulding; Grandchildren Sophia and Charles Spaulding; Sisters Julie Pinney/Propsom (George/John) and Lori Holtz (Brian); ex-husband, Michael Moore; and additional dear family and friends whom she loved. Although we are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in the joy and love she brought into our lives. Her legacy will live on in those who had the privilege of knowing her.
