When I think of your Mom, Sam, I always see her smiling. I worked with your Mom at Aon for many years. No matter what Sam had going on, she approached it with a positive attitude and smile. She was "SO" excited when she retired and was moving to Hawaii. From seeing the photos you posted, it appears she truly enjoyed her time there with the beauty of the area and her family as well.

Dear Holly and family,
I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a gentle, caring, and generous lady. I lived across the street from her on Hilltop and got to know her more and more the last few years I lived there. Please accept my sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy.

Holly.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Knowing you mom was a privilege. I was lucky to not only work with her, but to call her friend.
Her kind spirt and sweet soul made a bad day good. She was always thinking of others before herself. Sam always gave the most thoughtful gifts. I still have these ceramic birds that are pill containers, so beautiful.
I remember how excited she was when you were expecting Sophia. And then Charlie. And even more excited to share the pictures of her visits
My mom lives out of state and at times I would look to Sam as a mother figure. She will always have a special place in my heart. Funny story, we share the same birthday.
Many your memories bring you comfort through this difficult time.

We had a good time in Honolulu taking photos with the parrots (see picture above). The white parrot kept rearranging my mom's hair! Please share your photos and stories ....
