It's with a heavy heart that I send my sincere condolences to the family of Greer. I met Greer when we started our careers at IBM in Kingston, New York in 1983. We became friends and lived in the same apartment community. She was kind and compassionate. A truly good person. I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch over the years, after ending my employment with IBM. I pray she is resting in the arms of the Lord. God bless.
I worked with Greer at IBM in Kingston NY in the 80s. It was our first job out of college. I was a sheltered Jewish kid from Long Island and Greer a Seventh-day Adventist from Louisiana. I liked her immediately. I’d never heard of the Seventh-day Adventist Church nor did I know that Louisiana had Parishes instead of counties. Greer enlightened me :). We stayed in touch sporadically over the years and I did not know she passed. I’m so sorry. It is much too soon. Sending much love to her family, of whom she spoke warmly. What a lovely, gentle soul. RIP.
Greer, I loved working with you all these years at SWA. You always had a smile to share, and were a beautiful spirit with a wonderful laugh :) It was a great joy, and I was honored to have your friendship. Thank you for the memories I'll carry with me always. Luv, Lee
