I had the privilege of meeting Grant and spending some time with him and what always stood out was his genuine kindness. He had a way of making people feel included and valued—something that meant a great deal to my son, especially during times when he couldn’t make it home for the holidays. Grant welcomed him like family without hesitation.

I also remember our conversations about his passion for growing peppers. You could see how much joy and curiosity he had—talking about the different varieties, what he was experimenting with, and how proud he was of what he was building. It was more than a hobby; it was something he truly cared about.

Thinking of him and his family today. Happy Birthday, Grant.

I lived just on the outside of Grants neighborhood and he would ride his golf cart over, pick me up and we would be off for the day. Whether it was bass fishing all day, wakeskating or hitting golf balls. They were some of the best days of my childhood that I will forever cherish.

Dear Amy and Ed,

It’s truly beautiful how you’re keeping Grant’s memory alive. I will always cherish the special stories Ryan used to share about him. Grant was remarkable, and I know his light continues to shine through the beautiful baby Marlow.

I was fortunate enough to teach Grant while he was in high school. He was very smart and charismatic. He will be missed. Love, Ms Tanya

So many good memories of this sweet boy. Blessed to have just had time with Grant at Audrey and Noel's wedding.

Love and peace to all of you. ❤️

❤️ Grant, such a beautiful soul. He is at peace now. Prayers go out to his family.
My son told me about Grant’s passing. Grant was his roommate when they graduated  and moved out from New Life House. Words, however kind can’t mend your heartache, but I share your grief and wish you comfort. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.🙏
My heart broke with this news, Amy & Ed, God knows you are wonderful parents.
Much love,
The Lankes Family
Elisa and I want to express our deepest and heartfelt condolences to you: Ed, Amy and Audrey, on Grant's passing.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Keeping you in our prayers and hearts.
Much love to you all,
Lori & John Daly

I went to Olympia High School with Grant. I just recently moved to Miami and had the privilege of catching up with Grant, November 4th. He invited me to brunch Sunday, but I had to work.

Today I was in Brickell City Centre and texted Grant “I think I just saw your family, they look so much like you.”                I had met Mrs. Leasure prior, but never met the rest of the family. I was going to come say hello. But then I looked at Grant’s instagram and realized why you were here in Miami. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Grant’s smile was contagious. You had an amazing son! Sending thoughts, love, and prayers to your family during this very difficult time.

Amy, praying that you and your family can find peace in the coming days knowing that Grant is at peace now.
Sending love and hugs, Debra R
Amy, Ed and Audrey, I am so deeply saddened and sorry for your loss. I remember Grant in his younger days always with a big smile and big spirit in the neighborhood. Sending my deepest sympathies and love to you all.
I got to know Grant when he and my son were in New Life together. I immediately noticed Grant's big smile when he spoke with people. He was always very warm and chatty with us when we were there, which I appreciated so much. I was so glad that my son moved out with Grant because he made me feel comfortable and that things would be okay. I am heartbroken by his loss and send my deepest condolences to the Ed, Amy, and entire Leasure family.  I will never forget Grant and the impact he made on the families in recovery.
Grant was a ray of sunshine wherever he went. His ability to make others smile and enjoy life was contagious. Me and Grant met in 2016 in Recovery, and I learned a lot from talking to him. Going to miss him and my deepest condolences for the Leasure Family, if I can help or assist in any way please let me know.  Have memories with Grant that will last a lifetime, and will keep him with me forever through them. I’ll be praying for the Leasure Family. Will never forget Grants huge Smile!

Our deepest sympathies to Amy, Ed and Audrey. We are keeping you in our prayers. Grant was a beautiful person inside and out. He had the most beautiful smile and so loved life!! Amy, you and Ed are the most amazing and loving parents. Grant adored his family !! We had the privilege meeting you when our son Tyler was roommates with Grant in Florida.  Tyler was so very fond of Grant and they had many fun adventures together.  Tyler and Grant so enjoyed spear fishing, snorkeling and taking Jecko (aka Mr. Jeckers) to the park. ;) Praying for God’s comfort for you and for God to give you His strength .  Sending you lots of love, Lisa, Andrew & Tyler Damico
