>Grant Clapper, 83, of York, PA, passed away on November 01, 2025 after a [lengthy illness

Grant was born on 1/11/42  to the late Fannie Hamilton  and the late Charlie Clapper, In Adams County PA.  He married Shirley Irene Laughman going on to have 7 children, Denise  Jacoby, Grant Clapper JR, Timothy Clapper, Rusty Clapper, Troy Clapper Eric Clapper and Aaron Clapper, Grant was a man that knew what he wanted and went after it, he was hard headed but stood for what he believed, he would go after what he wanted and once he had his mind made up he was unstoppable,  Grant loved saving different kinds of metals and things to make money, he loved to go out collecting cans and things because saving money was more important  to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned he was unendingly proud of his car collection. He had garages with cars and things he loved to collect. He was very proud of Eric and Timothy Clapper.  Grant was predeceased in death by Shirley Clapper, Grant Clapper JR . He  survived by Two Sisters Mary Geiselman and Pearl Sebring,  6 children Denise Jacoby, Rusty Clapper, Eric Clapper, Arron Clapper and Tim Clapper, one son in law Earl Jacoby and one daughter in law Wanda Clapper,  22 Grandchildren,  30 great grandchildren  and one great great grandson on the way,  

The family requested all flowers be sent to Rusty Clapper 800 Randolph Street Apt 54 Hanover PA. 17331, 

The memorial service will be at a later date, there will be an update as more information is known.
