To René and the Bennick family, I’m so sorry that I am not able to make it to the service today, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all today and always. I did not know Grady personally, but with all the wonderful things that I’ve heard, I know he was a special man. I pray that you find peace in knowing that he still lives with each of you in your hearts and that you find comfort in leaning on one another.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Asia Williams

Your Royal Oaks School Family is sending thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We are all here to support you and we love you very, very much.
I am so sorry Grady passed. It seems we live in such uncertainty these days. I know people usually say things like, “He’s better off where he’s at”, because we’ve grown accustomed to saying phrases and others similar. I think if he actually had a choice he would have chosen life. Not comparing different beliefs in afterlife, but comparing instead that feeling of overwhelming love towards and from your spouse, your children and grandkids. I remember “Bud” enjoying life and smiling every time I saw him. My mom and his mom were close sisters that made sure people knew they were loved and that trickled down. My dad took me to see him play football at Northwest Cabarrus HS. He was tuff. We rode bikes together multiple times and played football with Don, and they were always trying to out throw each other. I do relate to him about the fun of riding a motorcycle too.

So thankful for the time I had with him and sweet memories like this. He tried not to cry when he saw me in my wedding dress and had the biggest smile ❤️
