On the morning of November 29, 2022, Grace Frances Wier (Fran) died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 98 (what would have been 99 on December 30, 2022). She was living at and being cared for by the staff at Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Fran was born in Calgary, Alberta, daughter to Ethel and John. She completed her degree in physiotherapy from the University of Toronto after which she worked …
