Grace Hilda D'Souza passed away on February 23, 2022, in Miami, Florida surrounded by her family.

Grace was born on October 21, 1942, in Bombay, India to Alphonso and Lucy D'Costa. She is the second of the couple's three children, with Philomena being their oldest daughter and Gilbert, their only son. Grace also has three half-siblings from her father's second marriage—Jossie, Maxie, and Rita.

On May 10, 1961, Grace married Louis D'Souza. They settled in Karachi, Pakistan, where they were active members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. In 1995, the couple followed their children to America.

Grace worked as a cashier at Publix for 20 years. In her retirement, she enjoyed watching movies, creating artwork, and spending time with her grandchildren and dogs.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years. She is survived by her children, Ivan (Ana Gabriela), Merlin (David), Aurine (Frederick), and several grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren. The family wishes her a new life in God's love.
