Gordon Morgan, 79, of Lake Alfred, FL, passed away on June 07, 2022 after a accidental fall, with hip fracture, and stroke

Gordon was born in Canada then moved to mi.  When he came out of the service. Gordon and Bettty shared 5 children Mike Oakley (Linda), Vickie Brown (Tim), Christine Dumochelle (Clarence), Mark Oakley (Kim), Katherine Chapple (Sean). Gordon and Betty have 9 grand children, Allen, Marlana (Nickie), Tonya, Michelle, Amber, Jessica, Cole, Coner, Chantell. They also have 9 great grand children Hunter, Liam, Payton, Baily, Kiernan, Chloe, Faith, Katie, and a grand daughter in Canada. Gordon and Betty had 2 fabulous neighbors Bob and Joyce. I could not have handeled all of this without them.  Gordon was a force of nature, determined to provide for Betty and give her the life he felt she deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children and Betty and always tried his best to keep them all  happy.


Gordon was also a passionate about sports, needle point, and puzzels that he did and could often be found doing one of them.


Anyone who knew Gordon knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Gordon was predeceased by Betty his wife, and Christine his daughter, along with his sister Bonnie and brother Bud.  He is survived by his children and grand children. Gordon is entrusted to Spangler Funeral Home for immediate cremation. we appreciate all of your kind words and prayers.
