Gloria Linda van Dalen (Powell) was “Promoted to Glory” at the age of 70 at the Cornerstone Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, Florida. After having survived cancer four years earlier, Gloria developed a tumor in her cerebellum. Following the removal of the tumor, Gloria was diagnosed with leptomeningeal cancer which spread rapidly and was untreatable. She was transferred to Hospice the day after Christmas where she was visited by dozens of friends and family …
