Gloria "Sue" Thomas, 77, of Tehachapi, CA, passed away on July 08, 2022 after a two-year battle with Metastatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma.

Sue was born on January 24, 1945 to Keith and Clara Aten in Geneseo, Illinois. After graduating from William S. Hart High School in 1963 she worked as an operator for Pac Bell and retired, after 25 years, in 1988 as a Telecommunications Engineer for AT&T. She retired as one of only two Trunk and Toll Engineers in the state of California. After her first retirement she went on to work for BMS, Bouchard Communications and finally CES before retiring again in 2008. Sue has three children, Michael, Paula, and Lisa.

After retiring for the second time in 2008 she spent her time volunteering as an Election Poll Worker for Kern County, California and had also volunteered her time to local elementary schools helping out with second graders. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grand children.

Sue was predeceased by her mother and father. She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
