Gloria's obituary

Gloria Scott gained her angel wings on December 15, 2022 in Hanover Park, IL. Gloria was 80 years old.

Those of us who were blessed to be touched by Gloria's love, understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she spent on earth.
Gloria was an extremely talented cook who took pride in her home and loved her family immensely.  She also loved dogs and enjoyed shopping (she had the most impeccable style). She thoroughly enjoyed trying her luck playing the lottery and loved her Winston 100s. Not a day went by where Gloria didn't talk about how much her children, grandchildren and family meant to her -- her family was arguably the most important thing in her life. She fell in love with Panamanian culture and adopted it as her own, making some of the best Arroz con Gandú and empanadas. Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Luis, and her children, Donna, Denise and Billy, as well as many grandkids, other family members, and friends. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Rudolph and Elizabeth, her brother, Sonny, and her daughter, Debra.

A Celebration of Life is still being organized, but will likely be held in Hanover Park, IL in the spring of 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Alzheimers prevention, to help reduce the risk of others succumbing to dementia, and ultimately, Alzheimers.
