She was born March 26, 1946 in Charleston West Virginia but raised on top of Mill Mountain daughter to an on-site residential caretaker of the zoo and also meeting the love of her life until her death (Edward Tolbert) that drove the zoo choo. Later on she would sadly become a veterans widow dedicating her life to loving, caring, and raising a daughter(Sharron Jewell) from a previous relationship, 3 children (Mary, Edward and Angel)they had together one being terminaly ill, and a daughter that they had adopted (Robin Tolbert). She made a difference in a lot of children never saying no to sleepovers, babysitting, and becoming a foster parent. She has a soft heart for all God's animals maybe thats why she always had a dog on her bed or a cat on the kitchen table. Her hobbies was making a pot of coffee while she fed the birds, squirrels, fish, hamsters, guinea pig, most were the kids then her cat n dog, watering the plants that filled every window just as the sun came up Sitting around the table talking to all of her friends some being family members or talking to the cat instead. Making sure there's another pot ready for the 1 o'clock soap operas, news, dinner, another pot for bed. She would always call you 10 different names before she got yours right or using your name when she's talking about another kid. Don't write in her dust that's something she did forbid.
