I will miss Aunt Gloria. She was not my biological aunt. Steve is my step-dad's brother. However, Aunt Gloria and Uncle Steve have ALWAYS treated me as their niece regardless of blood. I always felt special.

I was able to visit with them last year and Aunt Gloria loved on my children. She had never met most of them as we live so far away. However, they were just as special to her and her to them. When I told them of her passing, they were as sad as if they had spent lots of time with her. I will miss Aunt Gloria.

I carry my camera around me wherever I go, capturing as much beauty around me as I can. Eyesight is a beautiful gift we have been given to enjoy God's creation and the people we love. Which is what I enjoy most about having a camera for to capture the memories of that I see.. And sometimes just some funny things I see too. Later I can say " Ain't that odd !" like a true Mainah !
