Her passion for teaching others and her faith in God made her a guiding force in her community and an inspiration to those who knew her.
Among her many accomplishments, Gloria raised her children and grandchildren, along with many of their friends, demonstrating unwavering dedication to her family. She also devoted over 25 years of her life to teaching Sunday school, shaping the spiritual lives of countless children. After visiting Israel with her mother, she decided to share the Gospel and traveled as a missionary to Africa and then to Europe. In her younger years, Gloria enriched her community as a Registered Nurse at Jacksonville State Hospital, providing care and compassion to those in need.
Gloria’s greatest legacy is her love for her Savior, Jesus and His Word, the Bible. She was a pillar of strength encouraging all to love, to forgive, and to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5 & 6). This was a belief she lived by every day, making her an embodiment of faith and grace.
A funeral service in honor of Gloria will be held at 12:00 PM on November 27, 2024, at the White Haven Memorial Park in the All Season Chapel.
