Gloria was my right hand as a teachers aide when I taught Kindergarten at Roosevelt Elementary School in the late β€˜80s and early 90’s. She was such a great partner- wonderful with the children and always encouraging. Β Her great love for her family was always evident. We moved out of state in1994, but she stayed in touch with Christmas cards over the years, and I will always remember her fondly.Β

All the walks we took when I was young. All the rides together on the way home from school. Her Albondigas soup. Her spaghetti with meat sauce. Her soft spoken voice. Her telenovelas. Her beautiful smile. Her loving heart. Every piece of my life and happiness I owe to her. We love you Grammy.
