Glenn's obituary
Glenn Lanthier, born on December 20, 1954, passing away on May 21, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Lanthier; daughter, Cassie Bullock; sons, Daniel Lanthier and Brent Lanthier; sister, Frances Courville; brother-in-law, Isom Courville and sister-in-law, Pamela Oakes. Glenn was predeceased by his father, Henry Lanthier; mother, Elda Lanthier; sister, Dorothy Heinen and former wife Nadine Lanthier.
A memorial service for Glenn will be held on June 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM. Glenn was a dedicated volunteer, contributing his time and efforts to local schools affected by floods in Arkansas and fighting wildfires in Alaska. His passion for helping others extended throughout various organizations and communities.
Glenn had a vibrant personality and enjoyed a wide range of interests, including his love for Acadian music, LSU football, and playing games like Uno and Dominos. He delighted in recreational activities such as fishing and traveling.
Throughout his life, Glenn treasured visits to more than 30 National Parks and particularly cherished the Badlands in North Dakota and the beautiful landscapes of Alaska. He cared deeply for his family and loved to share his knowledge and skills in building, carpentry, fishing, and photography. Glenn leaves behind a legacy of kindness and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
