I am so sorry for your loss. Death is something that deeply affects us all. It takes away those we love most. But the Bible gives us a comforting picture in John 11:11, where Jesus compares death to a peaceful sleep. Just as we naturally wake up from sleep, Jehovah promises to wake our loved ones from death. In Acts 24:15, we’re reminded of the beautiful hope that God has given us the hope of the resurrection. May this hope bring you comfort and strength as you look forward to the day you’ll see Glenn again.
What a sweet dear man. I’m so sorry Francine and Danny for the loss of your dear brother. He passed on the same day as my sister - 9 years ago. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.
We go way back to our teens. He has always been cool. He cut my hair (hightop fade) for years! A real, solid person in my orbit. A good friend that gave me perspective about everyday work (we both did crowd management and security) and life. He kept me rolling with stories of the patrons and their nonsense. When we were both on U St., I would try to get by him on a crowded sidewalk. It was a game for me. He never missed. He saw everything. I will miss him.
Starving Students Moving Company, back in the day. Glenn was always upbeat and smiling. One of the good guys and definitely on the team. Glenn will be missed.
Glenn was such a genuinely nice person. He had the most amazing voice. We grew up in Dale City. In college, he introduced me to reggae music, Fast forward, my husband, who is Jamaican, shakes his head that I know the words to so many old reggae tunes. Thanks Glenn for making us laugh and smile.
Francine and Danny, heart goes out to you and your families during this incredibly tough time.
