Glenn's obituary

Glenn Joseph Gray, passed away on November 15, 2020, at his home in Metairie, La; at the age of 61. Glenn was born in New Orleans to Ray Joseph Gray Sr. And Mary Gray on February 23, 1959. He resided in Chalmette, La and moved to Metairie, La after Hurricane Katrina. Glenn was a devoted and loving father to Kelsey Lynn Gray and step-father to Katelyn Louise Stogner. A loving husband to Dolores Ann Johnson. He is survived by his sisters Patti Neal (Late-Ronnie), Linda LaNasa (Don), and Sandra Trahan (Tommy) and his brother Ray Gray Jr. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws Doris Stogner (Ambers) and Tammy Bowden (Bobby) and brothers-in-law Bernard Johnson (Michelle). He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Glenn is preceded in death by his father Ray Joseph Gray Sr., brother Michael Gray, and brother-in-law Ronnie Neal. Glenn was a 3rd generation member of the IBEW LU 130 of which he was a devoted and hard worker for 38+ years. Glenn loved the outdoors, going taking Sophie for walks and to the dog park, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and watching football especially the Saints and LSU. He loved football, he played for the Chalmette Owls in the 70’s. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation and mass to be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette,La., on Thursday, November 19, 2020. Immediate family only from 10:30 AM to 11 AM and friends are invited to visit between 11 AM to 12 PM and to attend mass. Private burial to lay him to rest to follow at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. Due to COVID-19 mandates, the church ask everyone to wear a mask and social distance.
