My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Glenn again.

Glenn hired me out of the Navy at 23 years old. After just two weeks of being employed at Mason School Glenn spent Labor Day weekend helping me ready the bus fleet for the beginning of school.
Glenn was in my life for the next 40 years.
Here’s to you, Glenn.

My deepest sympathies are with Mr. Doran's family and close friends who will miss him most acutely. As a child growing up in the Mason United Methodist Church a 1990 Mason graduate, I remember him well. He was always so kind, with a welcoming smile.
As Mason's Superintendent, he was a very visible presence in the schools, whether it was observing teachers, seving as a substitute (and he was a great teacher), attending a musical program, or simply touring the schools. He would even take the opportunity to talk to students. I vividly remember him approaching me at my locker in 10th grade and asking what my favorite class was and why -- and taking the time to listen to me. That made me feel important and made me value my education even more.
May he rest in peace, knowing he leaves a great legacy. Blessings to his family.

I am so sad to hear of Glenn's passing. I was a new teacher in Mason in January of 1987. Glenn personally came to my classroom on my first day to introduce himself to me. Through the years, he would always visit my self contained classroom and grab a seat to hear my lesson that hour. Later, we became neighbors on Maple Street. He was always so friendly, helpful and kind. He loved all of the students he encountered. My sincere condolences to all of his loved ones.
