Glenn's obituary

In Loving Memory of Glenn Watson Cummings

January 31, 1941 – May 14, 2025

Glenn Watson Cummings, age 84, of Wickenburg, Arizona, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025. Born on January 31, 1941, in Miami, Florida, Glenn lived a full and vibrant life marked by service, craftsmanship, and humor.

He is lovingly remembered by his two children, Glenn Cummings Jr. and Mechelle Southworth; his eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. His legacy of kindness, wit, and dedication will live on through all who knew and loved him.

Glenn’s life was defined by adventure, service, and a deep sense of community. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a scuba diver for the sheriff’s office, a firefighter, and later guided jeep tours—always eager to share his love for the outdoors. A proud Mason, Glenn also found great joy in his craftsmanship. He was an expert woodcrafter and took pride in making name plates and badges, a hobby that became a true passion.

He had an unmatched sense of humor and was known for his endless collection of jokes. Glenn had a heart for animals—especially his beloved dog—and a profound knowledge of Wickenburg, which he often shared with those around him.

A memorial service will be held to honor Glenn’s life on May 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM in Buckeye, Arizona. There will be no formal funeral. For more information, please contact his granddaughter Casandra at 602-910-7574.

Glenn touched many lives near and far, and he will be dearly missed by all.
