Glenn A. Cox, 86, of Woodway, Tx passed away on October 20, 2020 at his residence with his daughter, granddaughter, and grandson by his side.
Glenn was born on July 23, 1934 to A.L and Vera Cox in Trinidad, TX. After graduating from La vega High School, he served in the U.S. Army.
After serving in the military, he went to work for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier where he was employed for over 30 years. Glenn was also an active member of the Masonic Lodge.
In 1962, he met the love of his life June Ann McCrary and they married on October 18, 1963, going on to have one daughter, Jill.
After retiring in 1989, Glenn spent his time fishing, gardening, and farming. He was an avid animal lover. Anyone who knew Glenn knew that he was the most loving Dad and Papaw a family could ask for.
Glenn was predeceased by his wife, June, his parents Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Cox, his sister Doris Sherman and brother Joseph Cox. He is survived by his daughter Jill and husband Steve Rac, his granddaughter Kacie Rac and his grandson Jarrett Rac all of Bruceville, TX.
A private family graveside memorial will be held at Waco Memorial Park.
