Glenda's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Schultz, a beautifully warm and loving woman, with a big heart who passed away on February 27, 2026. Born on July 20, 1954, to Christine and Charles McClanahan, she lived her life with grace, class, and an infectious bubbliness that touched all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Glenda's legacy of love and kindness will forever be imprinted in our hearts.

Glenda was a beautiful mother, and regarded her children as her greatest accomplishment. She leaves behind her loving  children, daughter, Cassie Schultz  (Seric Smith), and son, Corey Schultz  (Allison Schultz). Their development, achievements, and maturity brought her immense joy and pride. Moreover, her role as a grandmother was one that she held dear to her heart; she shared a special connection with her granddaughter, Siearra Schultz (Blake Rotti),  and was excited when she gained her grandson, Blake Greenwell. It was also well-known that she loved her grand-fur babies to the fullest.

Beyond her legendary laughter, Glenda was a woman of extraordinary grit and independence. A true trailblazer, she spent almost two decades building cars for a large manufacturer, thriving in a male dominated industry through sheer skill and work ethic. To know Glenda was to know a woman who could truly do it all. She took immense pride in her work and family. She was our fierce matriarch, and made sure the women around her knew exactly how to stand on their own two feet. In contrast to her strength and grit, she was unwaveringly elegant, beautiful, and full of grace. The family she raised is a testament to that strength.

She valued her relationships greatly, cherishing her friendships and her siblings along with their families as much as her very own family. She absolutely loved being "Aunt Glenda", and loved her nieces and nephews with  their children.  Her love extended far beyond the confines of her personal circle, pouring into the community and touching countless lives with her warmth and charm.

In remembrance of our beloved Glenda, a Celebration of Life will be held in her honor.
