Glenda's obituary

Glenda Neubauer, 76, of Benbrook, TX, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2023 after years of battling COPD. Glenda was born on July 22, 1947 in Dallas TX. After graduating high school, she went on to work as a hair stylist with the Sally Beauty Salon chain, eventually opening her own beauty salon. Years later, after taking on the huge responsibility of raising her 3 grandchildren, she began working at the FWISD Bilingual Department as an Administrative Assistant, until her retirement.

Glenda is survived by her brother, Gary Jones; daughter, Angela Garcia; grandchildren, Britney Young, Gavin Gonzales, Amanda Garcia, and great-granddaughter, Allison Bearden. Glenda also leaves behind best friend and sister in law Sandra Neubauer of CA, and nieces Charmaine, Shauna, and Shanelle, as well as loved ones Cyndie and Lori of NC. There was nothing more important in Glenda's life than her grandchildren, she sacrificed everything to give them better lives and never gave up when faced with challenges. She instilled in them the importance of kindness and integrity, emphasizing that "I don't care what you do when you grow up, as long as you're a good person". Glenda will be deeply missed as a loving mother, grandmother, devoted friend, and a kind-hearted soul. Her greatest accomplishments were the love she had for her grandchildren, and she was the greatest grandma anyone could've asked for.
