Glen Eli Norman was born on September 30, 1949, was called home on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was the son of the late Robert Ringgold and Betty Norman Ringgold. Glen graduated from Henderson High School. He then went on to work various jobs that included maintenance and facilities for the Borough of West Chester, West Chester Area School District, and West Chester University until he retired from the university on May 30, 2014. Glen was raised a Master Mason on August 16, 1980, and was currently a Past Master with Harmony Lodge #21 F&AM. He was also a lifetime member of the Star Social Club and an associate member of Capt. Levi M. Hood Lodge #159.

His favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, watching the Philadelphia Eagles as well as “Judge Judy and Family Feud”. Glen also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing cards.

He leaves to cherish in his memory his children Monica Norman (West Chester, PA) Glenn E. Merritt (Lancaster, PA), Alisha Norman (Wilmington, DE), sisters Mildred Hallagher (Harrisburg, PA) and Joyce Spencer (West Chester, PA) his loving partner of many years, Rhonda Patton (West Chester, PA), 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and very close friends.

In addition to his parents, Glen was pre-deceased by his brother Robert Norman, sister Martha Norman, daughter Desiree Norman, and two grandchildren.
