Ginger's obituary
Ginger Mason, 61, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on December 28, 2022.
Ginger was predeceased by Walter and Loretta Mason. She was baptized@ First Baptist Missionary Church under the leadership of Pas Brown. As a child she was very active. In her youth, Ginger faithfully went roller skating @ Rollercade & Carrrocel Center. She had a huge paper route, long distance biking & was a member of the Ecorse High Track team where she ran the 10 meter race. Ginger worked hard at multiple jobs. She also loved to travel and meet people everywhere she went. Giving was truly her gift.
On the 11th of July 1980, Ginger enlisted in the US Navy where she served 10 years.
As she was stationed in New Orleans, she decided to make it her home. Ginger found her new church home under the leadership of Bishop Joan H Powell. Love Touch open their arms to Ginger where she grew closer to the Lord. On August 7th 2010, Ginger was ordained as Ev. Ginger Mason. She also faithfully served in the church as Head Media “Camera Girl” audio, bus driver and feeding ministry. She truly was an advocate for animals. Jarue was her best friend.
She will truly be missed by the bus system, her management complex and neighbors and most of all family and friends.
