It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Gina Smith, on Dec 1, 2024. Born on Aug 13, 1951, Gina led an inspiring life characterized by kindness, wit, and a soft-spoken demeanor that endeared her to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Devout in her faith, Gina was a regular attendee at Holy Cross Church where she not only found spiritual solace but also a community. She strongly believed in loving the Lord and treating her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ with respect and compassion.

Gina had a flair for the simple joys of life. Her favorite foods were fried chicken, pasta salad, and brownies, a trio she often shared with friends and family on countless occasions, transforming ordinary moments into cherished memories. She preferred coffee and Diet Coke as her drinks of choice, always accompanying her delightful meals.

A woman of varied interests, Gina had a deep appreciation for television shows such as NBC News and Golden Girls, finding both entertainment and a means of engaging with the wider world. In her spare time, she found comfort and joy in knitting and reading, activities that represented her calm and thoughtful nature. Walking was another cherished pastime, which allowed her to be in touch with nature.

Throughout her life, Gina was dedicated to several causes close to her heart, including homeless shelters. Her compassionate spirit, evident through her kind words and generous actions, will remain an enduring legacy.

Above all, Gina was a strong Christian and we take comfort in the fact that she has joined the lord.
