Maggy Wiener Celestin, 88 , of Plantation, Florida, passed away on November 10,  2022 after a brief illness. 

Maggy was born on November 7, 1934 to Jean Wiener and Marcelle Labrousse in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Maggy moved to the United States as a young married woman and made this her home with her two children- Gilbert and Cathy and her husband Pierre.   Maggy was a force to be reckoned with and enjoyed life, had many friends and cherished her family. 

Maggy excelled in school and later in life had a successful career as a Real Estate agent in which she won many awards at Caldwell Banker Realestate. 

Maggy was preceded in death by her husband Pierre, Mother & father Marcelle & Jean Wiener, and brother Jean.  She is survived by her Children- Cathy and Gil, her sister Diliah Sasso, and her grandchildren- Suzie, Joey, Chrisy,  Caroline and great grandchild Lucy; nieces Sandra Dupuy and her husband Tim Newhard & daughter Alessandra Newhard, and Genevieve Dupuy, and her son Michael Ricci , and her son in law John Diehl and her  grandchildren- Casey & Jeremy Diehl. 

The family requests that notes or flowers be sent to Our lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 11291 SW 142nd Ave, Miami , Florida 33186 on behalf of Gilda Celestin. 

There will be a funeral mass at 11:30am on Tuesday, November 29,2022 at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church , 11291 SW 142nd Ave, Miami, Florida 33186

 The service will be followed by a reception to Celebrate Maggy’s life at 1:30pm at Reginald and Joann Celestin's home- 14621 SW 150 Ave, Miami, Florida 33196. Please wear vibrant happy colors- no black. 

We look to memorialize Maggy’s life with pictures and photos, so please post notes or photos, or bring them with you as we will make a book so we can keep our beautiful memories of Maggy alive with friends , family.
