Gilberto's obituary
Gilbert was an avid movie and sports buff and loved to watch movies and Ohio State and Cleveland Browns games. He loved history and aspired to become a history teacher and middle school athletics coach. He spent his free time exercising at the gym, volunteering with kids, and playing golf. He loved the beach and spending vacations there with family.
Gilbert is survived by his father Gilbert Jimenez, Sr. and paternal grandmother, Trinidad C. Ramos and her spouse, Jose A. Cora, all of San Antonio. He is survived by his aunt and godmother, Mary Lou Ramos, of Atlanta, GA and his aunt and uncle, Neli Nelz and Randy Nelz of Marco Island, FL. Gilbert leaves several close cousins including Rosalia Arora of Atlanta, GA, David Brown of Chicago, IL, and Austin Nelz and Tiffany Nelz of Marco Island, FL. He is further survived by dear family members Sal, Mira, and Soni Arora of Atlanta, GA and Ellen Brown of Chicago, IL as well as his girlfriend, Marisela Moreno of San Antonio, TX.
A memorial service for Gilbert will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home located at 6321 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, TX 78238.
