Gilbert A Castillo Jr, age 47 of Valley Center died unexpectedly on 09/30/2021. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened. Gilbert was born on 02/22/1974 to Barbara Johnson and Gilbert Castillo Sr in San Diego, California. Gilbert attended Mission Bay High School graduating in 1992. He is survived by his wife of nineteen years Jessica Castillo (Valley Center), daughters Norah Castillo (Redondo Beach) and Delainy Castillo (San Diego) and son Lawrence Castillo (Valley Center) and Grandson Noah Ramos (Redondo Beach). He was a pest control operator and owned Slate Termite and Pest Control Services. Anyone who knew Gilbert, knew that he was a very kind , caring giving person. Gilbert had an immense passion for his family he enjoyed cooking, traveling and volunteering. There will be a viewing and Celebration of life held on October 16, 2021 in Escondido. If you cannot attend the service, please consider posting a memory on this website.
