I was a classmate of Gigi in highschool (Beaver Country Day). We lost touch in college but I remember her fondly. Please accept my condolences.

I am surprised and so saddened to learn of Gigi’s death. She was such a powerful force, I thought she’d be here forever.
Gigi hired me at Cambridge Computer Associates in 1972, and a couple of years later invited me to join the founding group of the Massachusetts Feminist Federal Credit Union. The time of MFFCU was the heart of Second Wave Feminism and last year I wrote and performed a solo theatre piece about it, and Gigi was at the heart of it, from her drive to create equality for women to our success and incredible meetings.
I teased her about having children with her white sofa, and I photographed Mischa’s birth.
I saw Gigi only once in recent years, at my home in San Francisco maybe 30 years ago, but she was always a larger than life presence and force in my mind, and I share her loss with her family and closest friends.
I am so very sorry.
