The fact that he never saw my sons kidney disease! My son would swell to the point of not being able to walk and his eyes stolen shut. Gideon never saw any of this. He just loved My son! He would stick up for him and come visit all the time! They were best friends for 10 years! Words will never be able to express the hole this young man's departure from our lives has left. He was such a beautiful person with such a beautiful soul!!!

Having the opportunity to watch Gideon grow up has been amazing. I've always enjoyed his company, even if it was just sitting in his room watching him play video games. His personality was so unique, he had the most contagious laugh and he had the purest heart. I'll always cherish little moments spent with him, and I'm forever grateful for the opportunity to know and love him. I always have and always will hold him dear to my heart. Rest easy sweet boy ❤️👼🏻

Dearest Heidi, Jonathan and Family, Tom and I send all our love and prayers for you all to have The Lord’s comfort as only He can give. This is a tragedy beyond description and our hearts are broken too! Gosh I remember when Gideon was born and how adorable he was right from birth. I read many posts about how wonderful and how hilarious Gid was and I remember that even as a little guy, he was hilarious!! He had us in stitches many times with his perfect comedic timing.

My heart aches for all of you as we send you our love, warm hugs and prayers. Love you, Nancy and Tom Jonas

I was so sorry to hear about Gideon's passing. He was such a fun kid to be around he always made everyone laugh and he just had the best personality I may not have known him very well but he was a really big sweetheart

I was sitting at camp when I heard the news at first I was confused cause I seen the name and I knew it sounded familiar so I called my friend dalton and he confirmed it almost every person in my our camp broke out in tears. We all want to say that we are all there for you and how sorry we are.

Hearing of Gideons passing came as an unexpected shock to me. Though I haven’t been as close to Gideon recently as I have been in the past, I will still miss seeing him around town and at school. I’m so sorry for the loss of such an amazing person.
