It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gholamreza Esmaili, known to all as Amir, who passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, in Cambridge, Ontario, at the age of 65.
Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Amir embarked on a journey that would take him across continents. At 17, he moved to England, where he learned to speak English, and pursued his education in Aeronautical Engineering. He loved playing football and …
