We all miss you dearly Gertrude. Your passing left a hole in the hearts of your children, your family, and good friends. We know you are in heaven with the Angels, and we feel your presence every time we look towards the sky 🙂🙏🙏

I am very saddened to hear of Gertrude's passing.  Gertrude was first and foremost a hard-working, dedicated mom and leader of her family.  She was also an inspirational member of the Liberian Association of Ottawa, including being the Social Chair and unselfishly took on numerous other responsibilities. Gertrude treated everyone as an equal, whether or not they were originally from Liberia.  Gertrude listened to and respected all opinions and made sure that everyone kept their feet on the ground.  I will miss her wonderful smile, her great sense of humor, her grace and her way of bringing people together. You can be sure that God has Gertrude close by.  Best regards to all of Gertrude's family and friends.
