Gerold (Gary) Wayne Stewart was born on April 6th ,1939 to Robert L & Dorothy Annis Stewart in Hutchinson, Kansas. Gary graduated in 1957 from Hutchinson High School. He joined the Army Reserve before the family moved to Lawrence, KS. While in Lawrence he met Sandy at the local Duckwall store and married 1 ½ years later on May 29th, 1960.
