Gerda Janet Bishop, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 16, 2021, in Alta Loma, California, at the age of 79.

She was born on July 16, 1942, to Herbert and Lilly Knodel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She married her eternal companion, Donald Bishop on September 9,1967 and they were blessed with six children: Jared, Aaron (spouse Jenni), Caryn (spouse David), Aimee (spouse Michael), Adam (spouse Stacey), and Amanda (spouse Brian). She loved being a "Grammy" to her 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Gerda was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. She had a passion for sewing, sports and music. You could find her sitting at her sewing machine late at night, or cheering at a baseball game or dancing in the kitchen on any given day. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in numerous callings and capacities. She was always ready to serve those around her. 

Gerda will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
