Gerd's obituary
He was a former Vice President of Overseas Enterprises in Florham Park, NJ. During his life Gerd worked for various companies in the shipping industry before retiring from a successful career.
Gerd was an educated, well read, intelligent person with a kind heart. Admired and respected by his friends and colleagues. Gerd was also a connoisseur of food and fine art. He had a passion for art since his teenage years and during his retirement Gerd pursued this passion and became interested in the art of screen-printing. His work was influenced by the Pop Art Scene of the 1960’s. Gerd’s work was exhibited in various art galleries in New York and New Jersey. He was inspired by the works of Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana.
Gerd is survived by his loving ex-wife Nonie Razon-Mangels, his best friend Wolfgang Wittling and his wife Nanlika, and by all of his friends in the U.S. and around the world.
Gerd will always remain in our hearts.
