Geraldine "Gerry" Linda Redlin, 85, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on February 10, 2022, after a long hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's. Gerry was born on February 12, 1936, to Robert Frank Holland and Dorthey Virginia Holland (Burgoon) in Midway, Pennsylvania. After graduating from high school in 1954, she enlisted in the Air Force.  Where she met the love of her life and they wed in 1955 going on to have three children, Jeffery, Brenda and Valerie. When Gerry had Jeff, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. She was very involved in the Girl Scouts for several years. Not only was she a troop leader but she also spent time helping at summer camps here in town and in the mountains.   She spent over ten years working as an orthodontist assistant before moving to Texas.   After returning to Colorado, she was an active member of her church and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found setting an example for other women to follow in volunteering their service. We will miss her greatly.

Gerry was predeceased by her daughter Valerie Ann, Parents Frank and Dorthey Holland, Sisters Joy, Patty and Brother Dale.  She is survived by her husband Hugo, Jeffery and spouse Debra (Trask), Brenda and spouse Howard (Thurston), Grandchildren Christopher Redlin and spouse Amy (Altom), Ashley Redlin, Chad Thurston and Courtney Thurston, Grand Stepchildren Cody Trask and Spouse Sara (Williams) and Levi Trask and spouse Sheridan (Taylor), Great grandchildren Carlie and Brandtley Thurston, Austyn, Christian and Lane Redlin and Great Grand Stepchildren Landon Trask, Sophia Trask, Mia Williams and Emily Bounds (Redlin) and Brothers Ronald Holland, Lloyd Holland and Spouse Barbara.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity or to the Alzheimer's association would be greatly appreciated.  There will be a celebration of life for Gerry held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, 10:00am at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 111 Del Mar Circle, Aurora, Colorado 80011.
