Geraldine's obituary
Geri was born and lived her life in Saint Paul, MN, and graduated from Johnson High School in 1986. She worked at Walgreens for 32 years as a Pharmacy Technician, moving to various locations throughout her time with Walgreens. She took immense pride in her customer service skills and enjoyed making bonds with coworkers and customers alike. She also enjoyed making cakes for coworkers’ special events because she never let a birthday go uncelebrated. She retired from her position at Walgreens in April 2020.
She loved being a mom, going to Bingo with family, singing along to 80s and 90s hits in the car, watching crime shows, and making people laugh. She also loved baking all kinds of sweets; brownies, cookies, cakes, and coconut balls!
Geri will be remembered for projecting positivity and her caring attitude. Whether it was cracking a witty joke, giving incredible hugs, or showing her beaming smile, it was always a sure thing that Geri would go out of her way to make someone’s day. She would even remember her regular customers at Walgreens and make an effort to form a relationship with them.
Geri spent the last years of her life fighting multiple chronic illnesses; even with the odds against her, she faced every challenge that arose with the strength and courage that was unmatched, all with a smile. No matter what life brought her way, she continued to be selfless and care more about helping others through the rest of her life.
Geri is greeted in heaven by her mom Helen Juve, uncle Dick Perlinger, and aunt Eileen Akre. Surviving and remembering her is her father Jerome Juve, her siblings; Leo Juve, Melissa Juve, and Jenette Juve, as well as her children; Mathew Kuehl, Ashley Kuehl, and Jaclyn Kuehl. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Brent Kuehl, Shawn Kuehl, Jaece Juve, Carlee Leitheiser Juve, Kyle Hance, and Kaitlyn Kuehl. As well as an abundance of loved ones and countless friends, her life was so full of love.
A celebration of life in honor of Geri will be held at 6 pm on Friday, August 28th at Battle Creek Pavillion - 2300 Upper Afton Rd, Maplewood, MN 55119. Due to COVID, masks will be made available and social distancing will be required and enforced.
