Jerry Rosa, 57, of the Bronx, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday February 10, 2022. He was born on August 31, 1964. He was the son of Jerry and Basilisa Ramos.

Jerry was a construction worker by profession and started working in his early twenties. He eventually became an independent contractor, and renovated homes as a side job. He loved fixing and building things. When it came to working Jerry was a perfectionist. Throughout his career Jerry made a lot of friends who would go on to refer him to other clients.

Jerry loved spending time with family and friends. He was a kind hearted person who loved helping people. Jerry loved playing sports. Football was his favorite sport.

He is survived by his parents Jerry and Basi Ramos, his children, Melodi, Gerald, and Ethan, his granddaughter Alivia, his sisters, Elizabeth Andropoli, Myra Brown, and Lizette Diaz, his brother in laws, Dwight Brown and Mike Diaz. He was the uncle to six nephews and four nieces. He was the nephew to two uncles and nine aunts, and many cousins.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 2 - 3:30 at Ortiz Funeral Home, 2121 Westchester Ave., Bronx, New York.
