Gerald and I met on a date that was setup, from then on we weren't separated for many hours. The date was his Grade 11 Prom, so I met his 2 brothers, Eric and Kevin and his parents. It was a night to remember.

What can I say about my brother Gerald that other people haven’t said. His memories are everywhere around our home from burnt wood pictures of our dog to art work on our breadbox. We spent every warm morning outside on the front deck having our morning coffee and smoke and having conversations from out childhood to hockey to our years of working  never agreed on much. Never solved the.problems of the planet  but enjoyed our talks coffee and smokes

My kids and grandchildren had the chance to get to better know their uncle and each will be surely.missing him

I had a phone conversation with him prior to him going into the hospital that day after he and Diane had their grandchildren for a night   He said Man do they have a lot of energy. I laughed and said grandkids let you know you are getting old   He went on the talk about his girls and was very happy when he spoke of them and what they did. I was glad.that he really enjoyed it

Bro. You may be gone but your footprint and memory will be here for a long time

Rest well

Kevin

Uncle Gerald, I didn’t get to spend much time with you, but you came into my life when I needed support and I’ll never forget that.   Much love to you forever, give Dad , Pop,Nan and Uncle Harold the biggest hug from me

Uncle Gerald,

I'm having a hard time finding words,  yes me. I have so many memories as a little girl,  teenager and as an adult. No matter what you'd always have a hug and tell me a story of "the three boys" or one of sister maude , myrt, or louise; and we'd give the big hehaws.

Thank you for introducing me to some really solid rock groups, you had great taste in music. Deep Purple,  Made in Japan is still one of my favorites.

You're gonna be missed, there's no doubt. It's no good for me to say see ya or anything like that because you'll always be around and in my heart.

Marc, Bradley and family

Much love to everyone always, Lisa xx

To the Piercey family. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gerald. I knew the family well growing up at 1B Prospect Street in Buchans. My sincere condolences to all the family.

Bro,

I'm going to miss hanging around together, playing a good game of cards, and endlessly laughing. I always enjoyed our time together, whether it was us fishing, hunting, or playing darts.

I always called you the "good brother" out of all of us, and I always meant that. There are countless reasons why I gave you that nickname - your kindness, considering for others, and caring heart, to name a few. Those are what stood out to me the most, and will never be forgotten.

Love you, and will miss you. See you again.

Eric

It is with a sad heart that I say goodbye to Gerald,  he was a special part of my life from the moment we met we connected with our hearts,  He was a special person who was giving of himself to anyone who needed him, he was a very loving person, especially for his sons and their families as well as his brothers and sisters.  Gerald will be missed but he will be watching over everyone with a guiding hand,  Goodnight my sweet angel, fly high with the rest of your family.  I will always love you Isabel
