I was so sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. Jerry was my wonderfully welcoming father-in-law and also considered by me to be my friend. He inspired me to grow my own veggies and cook directly from the garden. From the moment we first met, perhaps 25 or more years ago, Jerry always welcomed me into his home, into his family, to his table, and into his big, warm smile. My only regret is that we could not spend more time together during his last years. 

Peace to you, big HEARTed Jerry!

as a child I remember him always bringing home really good food for us like steak, lobster, octopus, and one time he brought home some really big live lobsters and put them on the floor and they were moving around.  I screamed and jumped up on a chair because I was scared they were going to get me.
