Jerry Lowe Obituary
Gerald Wayne Lowe, born June 10th 1944 of Spring Arbor MI passed away on April 19th 2024 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital, room 789 surrounded by Friends, Family and loving hospital staff – and I suppose his wife.
Jerry was proceeded in death by his biological father Richard Lowe and raised by his loving Stepfather Martin Walker and Mother Gloendola Coffey Walker.
He survived by his Loving, Caring, Beautiful, Generous, Kindhearted, Forthright and other sarcastic compliments of a wife Priscilla Joanne Lowe. His sister Diane Cramer, His Son Kenny (Kathleen) John Lowe and Marty Lowe. His Grand Children Karl (Destiny) Lowe, Kody (Nicholas) Lowe, Katelynn (John) Bohn, Brieanna Lowe and his great granddaughter Albany Lowe.
Jerry (Poppi) Lowe married his breathtaking mistress, Priscilla Balch on December 14th 1968 where they spent the next 56 years of stress free, enchanting bliss. Jerry was hired into Jackson Precision Diecast Corporation in 1968 where he went by the name “Jabo” with his fellow coworkers. He worked there for the better part of 30 years until their doors closed in the early 2000’s. After that Jerry spent the rest of his yeas divulged into his passions which included Camping, fishing, sports, woodworking along with recording and listening to countless hours of music which were amongst his top favorites, though he had a burning pension towards his back scratchers. All of which came before his tantalizing wife, Priscilla whom of which became his number one enemy – I mean friend, especially around 9:00 PM where his favorite candy shot of insulin was lovingly administered. Grandpa Lowe was a man of love, laughter and endless pranks – this man could not be trusted to be left alone with your car keys, or other worldly possessions, less you loved a game of hide and seek with them.
Losing a man of this stature is going to be hard on those who loved him, but they, along with the rest of the population, can sleep at night knowing the roads will be a safer place without Jerry adjusting his radio and swerving through traffic whilst being scolded by his Sensitive, elegant, and delicate witch - Priscilla. All jokes aside, Jerry loved his wife Priscilla, who stood by his side through the good and the bad; doing everything in her power she could for him right up to the very end… with only a few complaints.
A celebration of life (or new founded road safety) will be held at the Sandstone Congregational Church on May 2nd @ 710 South Sandstone Rd Jackson MI 49201 at 11:00 AM – Visitations will begin at 10:00 AM.
