Gerald A. “Jerry” Longarzo, Sr. passed away peacefully on the morning of June 5, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in Queens, New York to Italian immigrants, Jerry worked as a layman in the construction industry before pursuing his passion in law enforcement. Jerry enjoyed a long career in the New York City Police Department (NYPD), ultimately serving for many years as the Vice President of the Sergeant’s Benevolent Association (SBA). He later retired …
