Background
During his time with the NYPD, Jerry was very involved with the Police Athletic League https://www.palnyc.org/. During his retirement, Jerry volunteered at a local hospital and he loved children, so contributing St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital https://stjude.org/donate/ would also be a meaningful remembrance of Jerry Sr.
