Formerly of Flint, MI, born June 28, 1943
In Wyandotte, MI, passed away December
26, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at
3:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2020 at
Faith Missionary Church. 1327 Elms Rd
Flint, MI 48532, Pastor Brent Kriesch
officiating.
Gerald served in the Military (Army) for
3 yrs (1962 - 1965). His service years were
Spent in Germany. On his return to Flint he
worked various jobs. He began at General
Motors then began as a Butcher, Heating & Cooling and Consignment.
Surviving is his wife of 25 yrs, Maria
Yvonne Wats. Daughters Bethany Funk,
Tamara White, Cindy Kinney.
5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are 5 sisters: Marsha (Mel)
Altom, Barbara (Larry) Cadle, Nancy
Funk, Katherine ( Ken) Wheeler, Jane
Neeley .
He was preceded in death by parents:
Marilyn (Brown), Donald Funk. Grand-
Parents: Floyd Gilbert Funk, Frances
Decker, Floyd Franklin Brown and Lena
Ellen Booth.
Cousins: Kyle Wheeler, Mark Altom.
